It was another bright and sunny day in September and the kids in Ms. Boyle’s class were enjoying the fresh air. Before the recess bell rang, Frank and his friends had agreed to meet in the playground. When they arrived at the nets they began to race to the top. Once they climbed to the highest point they began to laugh. Next, they decided to play a game of tag. After the friendly game they began to race back to class. The recess break had flown by and now it was time for learning!

There are many reasons I love to play basketball. First of all, I love being a part of a team. The girls on my team have become some of my closest friends. Another reason I love basketball is that we get to travel to different cities to play games. On the weekend I played our rival team in Midland and we won! Finally, one of the most important reasons I like to play is because it one of my greatest passions in life. I hope that one day I can play professionally. Basketball is such a wonderful sport and if you have never played before you should give try it.
